Ive run version beta 0.3(something).

The GUI is easy to understand and there are options to choose from. (before release you should probably add some help texts to the different options)

I like that you dont send the password using a flag, other software does this and then the password can be shown while using taskmanager.

It works standalone and does not require an SQL server, which some other software use.

Notification by email is a good way to monitor backups, maybe you can add Nagios support in the future.

Using vBackup 0.3.0.2073 (PR2) against ESXi free 5.1.0 (build 799733)

Simple and intuitive GUI along with support for ESXi are fantastic.

Very easy to implement.
