Today I tried to restore a VM to VSAN.
the error I receive: Unable to create folder for new virtual machine on datastore. Mkdir: can’t create directory ‘/vmfs/volumes/vsanDatastore….. Funtion not implemented.
I know for creating a folder on VSAN command: /usr/lib/vmware/osfs/bin/osfs-mkdir /folder… is used.
Did I forgot a checkbox or something?

We are looking into this. For now, if you need to restore a VM to a vSAN datastore please use VMware vCenter Converter Standalone. You can find instructions on how to do this on page 25 of the vBackup 4.0.1 Administrator's Guide (Help > Administrator's Guide).
