I get stuff like this: ============================================ Server Platform: VMware vCenter Server 5.5.0 1398495 Virtual Machine Guest OS: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit) Host Server: 192.168.0.8 Host Server Platform: VMware ESXi 5.1.0 build-1065491 Backup Folder: Z:\VMware Backup\Server Backup: 140303_000055 E Unable to access log file. The process cannot access the file 'Z:\VMware Backup\Server\vBackup.log' because it is being used by another process.
and this: ============================================ E Unable to complete backup. Existing temporary snapshot(s) found: - vBackup-TMP-140226_061614 Process Completed: 03.03.2014 05:12:18 Elapsed Time: 7 minutes and 47 seconds
and this: ============================================ e Unable to delete backup 140124_040124. Could not find a part of the path 'Z:\VMware Backup\XP Komm\140124_040124'. Process Completed: 03.03.2014 06:14:52 Elapsed Time: 2 hours, 11 minutes and 20 seconds Backup Size: 22,73 GB
Questions: ============================================ 1. I don't know which process is using the log file. Why can't vBackup just create a new file if it's a problem? 2. If vBackup finds a temporary snapshot with "vBackup" in the name and it is a problem, why doesn't it delete it? 3. I believe it can't delete a file that does not exist because the backup was interrupted last time. But should that really be a warning?
This started with the latest version. It wasn't a problem as I'm aware of before that.
