Happy to help. Can you please reply with the full console output?

1) From vBackup Client, right-click the job and click Execute Now
2) Choose “after” for the debug breakpoint and click OK
3) Allow the job to complete
4) Right-click anywhere in the console window and click Select All
5) Press the enter key
6) Paste the console output in your reply

Thank you,

vBackup Team

The "vmodl.fault.InvalidRequest" message is a generic error message from VMware. We are wondering if you can run the following command a the Windows command prompt to see if we can get a better error message to go on.

C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe /C ""VBACKUP_APPLICATION_FOLDER\plink.exe" -ssh 192.168.1.63 -P 22 -l root -pw ROOT_PASSWORD -batch "vim-cmd vmsvc/snapshot.create 1 TEST_SNAPSHOT 'Test snapshot' 0 1""

You will need to change the following variables to match your environment:

VBACKUP_APPLICATION_FOLDER
ROOT_PASSWORD

Please reply with the output from this command.

Thank you,

vBackup Team
