VVDM is much more reliable.

vBackup version 0.3.0 pre-release 1 & 2 have two job types that work with ESXi free ("Backup-Image-SSH-SCP" & "Backup-Image-SSH-VVDM"). We have since removed the SCP option and the final release of vBackup 0.3.0 will only have one job type for ESXi free called "Backup-Image-SSH" which is basically the "Backup-Image-SSH-VVDM" job - just renamed.

Long story short, please use the "Backup-Image-SSH-VVDM" job type for now and when you upgrade to the final release of version 0.3.0 nothing will change.

Sorry about the site incompatibility with Chrome. We are working on a brand new site which will hopefully launch this summer.
