I have yet to purchase vbackup and am currently testing it. I noticed while running a test backup that all of the traffic goes through the machine that has the vbackup client installed. I would like to back up several TB of data and am worried I won't get it done in time if all of the traffic needs to go through the client machine. Is there a way to have the esxi host send traffic directly to a NAS storage device? Backing up 1 VM is fast enough but I want to make sure this solution will work as we expand our storage. I have bonded NICs on the NAS but this will be defeated if all traffic needs to go through the client.
