Hi,

When I try to add a host server I get the follwing error after about 30 seconds:

"Host server connection error: The remote server returned an error: (503)
Server Unavailable"

I can ping and connect with vSphere client without any problem. Firewall on vBackup server (Win 8.1 64 bit) is disabled so is AV.

Any Suggestions?

Problem Solved.

After adding the ESXi host to my AD and DNS server, It works when refere to the server by name instead of the IP address.
