Hi, I have backup jobs running for Windows XP, 8 end Server 2012. I can mount the backup of the XP machine just fine, but when I mount the backups for 8 or Server 2012, the mounted disks are empty. Nothing is displayed in the explorer, but it shows space is in use. Is this a known issue, or can I do something to fix this? Thanks for your help.

Regards Jeroen

Update: I am using VDDK version 5.1, because the VMware-mount utility is missing in newer versions and I am connecting to a ESXi 6.0 host.

Resolved: My mistake, I did not select the appropriate volume to mount. It defaults to volume 1 and in this case it needs to mount volume 2.

Can you download and install vBackup version 4.0.1 PR5? In this version we added the ability to test all disks in a backup (from the backups list) in vBackup Client. Simply right-click the backup and click Test Disks. Please reply with the results of the test.

PLEASE NOTE: You do not need to uninstall version 4.0. Just download the version 4.0.1 PR5 zip file from our website and follow the instructions in the included readme.txt.

Thanks for your reply, but my issue has been resolved. I did edit the original post and changed the status to resolved earlier ;)
