Is it possible to schedule restores? I have two ESXi boxes. I'm thinking nightly backups from Box A, then restores to Box B (with vms powered off), would make for an easy "power on" of any vm on Box B should Box A fail for any reason. Though, once copied to Box B, I'm guessing I'd need to browse the Data Store and add the vmx to Inventory; correct? Thanks!

The current version of vBackup (4.0.1) does not support scheduled restores. I think what you are looking for is replication (the ability to replicate a VM from one host server to another). We are working on adding replication as a new feature in version 5.0. We are targeting 2015-Q4/2016-Q1 for release of version 5.0.
