Is it possible to specify where the log file for a job should be located?
Consider the following scenario: Small company, single ESXi server, two virtual machines (one for vBackup/other backups), vBackup to one of two USB disks connected to the ESXi server. Backup is executed every Thursday and one of the disks are taken off site and the other one connected to server.

It would be great if the following would be possible:
a) Placing the log file elsewhere so that it is accessible even if one of the disks are off site.
b) A setting in vBackup that lets the program understand that more than one disk is being used for backups.

Not in the current version (4.0.x). We are relooking at this with version 5.0 (due to release mid-year 2015). Now that the log entries are written to the Windows Event log we are planning to implement more of an event-history-like feature in vBackup Client. More news to come early 2015...

We will also look at adding a more intuitive interface for drive/target storage rotation.

Thank you for the feedback. This is what helps us make a better software solution.
