Apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere, but I haven't been able to find a direct answer.

Will a free version of vBackup remain available once it's out of beta?

If not, do we have an idea of cost to license? I've had good success with the product, but we are on a shoestring. I'd like to know that we can afford to continue using vBackup before deciding that it's a "permanent" solution.

Thanks,
Drew

Yes. The Standard edition of vBackup will always be free.

We definitely understand tight budgets. If you can get by with a single backup target (location backups are saved) and don't need e-mail notification or compression the Standard edition will definitely work.

Also, you can find the pricing information (for purchase once the beta program ends) at the bottom of the feature matrix on the vBackup product page.

We hope you choose vBackup as your permanent solution. Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions.

Thank you,

vBackup Team
