Hello,
Recently we had some issues with backups for a VM using Thimware. The VM has 4 thin provisioned disks. The issue that we observed was that during a backup job an error came up and the backup stopped, but one of the disks was automatically converted to thick provision eager zeroed disk. Why is this happening, and can it be avoided? We use VMWare ESXi 6 and Thinware vBackup Version: 4.0.2.2754 with Thinware vBackup Client Version: 4.0.2.4976. What we observed was that we had some VM events regarding disk consolidation successes when thinware backup failed.
Thanks in advance.
