I have many troubles to restore a backup on an external server.

Each time i have try i encounter the error below :

Unable to upload configuration (VMX) file for new virtual machine to datastore. Fatal: Network error: Connection refused.

Thinware Backup (Free) 4.0.2.27.54 is installed on a Windows 7 Pro Virtual Machine.

For you rinformation, SSH Port had been change and connexion had been try with putty and all is working.

Just the restore feature is not working.

Do you have some idea?

Hello,

Yes, i confirm that i use the same SSH port.

When restoration failed, if i check on distant server, i can see that a directory with the name of the Restoration had been created.

So, it seems that the connection is working.

The full error is :

Unable to upload configuration (VMX) file for new virtual machine to datastore. Fatal: Network error: Connection refused.

I have try to restore multiple VMs on differents ESXi server and it didn't work for all of them.

But it's pretty strange because i already have the same configuration on an other server which is working.

Do you have an idea of when will be available the next release?
